Yes, I meant 2 6990s and 2 590s, that was a dumb mistake. However, regardless, 4 gpus will obviously be more powerful than 3. Like you said its a matter of immature drivers and poor scaling; in terms of pure processing power though the 4 gpus will definitely be greater than the pure gflops of the 3 gpus, even with the gpu clocks being decreased. When drivers mature and better support for quadfire, etc is allowed, the dual 6990s and dual 590s will be better in benchmarks and games alike. Therefore, im still correct in saying that dual 6990 or dual 590 > tri 580. Perhaps you should think before sounding like such an angry ass.
