Shouldn't you first upgrade your mobo, cpu and gpu?

Ya thanks I know. I was just offering a suggestion. That is why I put that it is not a 120hz. Too many people like you thin you are the designated forum police. Do I have to pay a fine now?

I apologize, I couldn't help myself. No harm intended.

PM me and I'll give you my paypal info so that you can pay your $50 fine.

in many review i see that LG W2363D have a ridicolous contrast ratio, is it true ?
The color graduation is good ? flatpanelshd write that in the LG is visible some color bands, is it true ?

The AG coating of LG is light and clear or product grainy effects ?

just make sure you got tripple buffering enabled with Rivatuners D3Doverrider because vsync has the nack to cut your frame rates in half instead of running just under your refresh rate. Tripple buffering gives the gpu a extra buffer so it can go on with its work when waiting for the signal from the LCD

The only other flatpanels I've had are two asus tn panels. With the color correction suggested by a reviewer, the lg has much more vibrant colors.

One drawback of this monitor is that the "thru mode" which makes the display have that coveted 0 ms input lag, makes the text a bit grainy if you run it in windows. I leave it on and don't notice it. I've never had a ips panel and this probably doesn't compare but I don't know.

I bought it for the 120 updates per sec and the lack of input lag. What you're doing is what you're seeing.

As for the contrast ratio, I guess it's good. I actually found the factory settings to be much too bright. This monitor took a good bit of tweaking, but I found it very pleasing now. The works done though, I just copied a reviewer's settings and they work great.

The ag coat is the typical matte finish of most tn panels I've seen.

If speed isn't you're number one concern, this isn't the display for you.

I've tried out most 22-24" 120Hz panels. Get the 27" Acer. I am thoroughly enjoying it more.

i'm rocking 3 120hz monitors at this moment, the asus 236h, acer g234hz, and viewsonic,

vsync with 120fps is beautiful,

i highly reccoment at least a sli setup to fully appreciate the benefits of 120fps,

60-80 fps you won't notice much difference, but once you hit 100fps stable , everything is just different,
