Quick question how often do you guys have to RMA stuff? I usually just buy stuff from my local Frys or CompUSA

It just depends when parts go bad. In the past 2 years I had to rma my video card and motherboard. It's usually a little cheap to buy parts online than at local frys.

OP: If you get this combo deal (for PSU and HDD), and this case, you will be able to save ~40$ allowing you to go for the Corsair H50 instead of the CM 212...

CPU and motherboard*: Intel i5 2500k and MSI P67A-G43 (B3): $330 ($320 after rebate)
RAM: G.SKILL 4GB: $48
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 5850: $140
HHD: Samsung 1TB F3 Spinpoint: $55
DVD Drive: Samsung SH-S223C DVD+RW Drive: $20
Case: CM HAF 912:$50 with rebate ($60 without)
PSU: Antec TruePower New TP-650 650W: $80
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212+ Cooler: $27
Alright, perfect. Enjoy your new build.

EDIT: ah, crap. Why do people keep trying to bring new things? The build the OP posted is pretty much perfect. OP, don't change anything. The Antec EA-650 is a lower quality unit than the TPN-650W. Go with that; don't change it. You won't get modular cabling and the electrical quality is lower. If you get either the G.Skill or Team, you're gonna be fine. Don't get H50. It's crap. A Scythe Mugen 2 is much better when it comes to cooling.

Just go with what you posted and be done with; it's pretty much perfect.

Not to piss you off axel but here's what I put together.

Granted I cheat in this build as it comes to ~762 after rebates and shipping.

CD drive with FS promo
500 GB HD
$245 6950 2GB VRAM and lifetime warranty
$50 Ram (same as yours)
psu/case
CPU/mobo same as you posted.

Your build looks good too, I just think the 6950 2GB is a good deal from xfx!

Happy building

edit - I also left out the CPU cooler in this build, which I think is worth it imo if your budget is tight.

Just trying to top it off with a few more good deals here
The Team RAM comes with a free 4GB flash drive, just thought it'd interest OP. This RAM is also a great deal at the moment.
I still really have a huge problem with that DVD drive choice though... $26 shipped for a 22X DVD drive doesn't cut it for me, when you can get a 24X one for $21 shipped

why do all the deals end before I get paid =( Yah I saw that but I think if buy stuff with it the shipping will get cut down. With the whole system in my shopping cart the shipping costs 11$ But none the less thats still something to look out for they try to get you with that high shipping when you buy HDD/OD/RAM even some cases
