Scythe Ultra Kaze 120mm craziness

Thread Starter
These things make my new build sound like an airplane. I wanted good airflow and the feedback said they were somewhat loud but I never would of thought. I bought 3 to put in my rig so thats a total of 5 case fans right now. I have to admit they blow air like no other but does anyone know if once they get broken in become quieter?

Did you get the 3k RPM ones? Those UK3Ks are loud! I don't think they're gonna get any quieter with time. Sorry.

They are load but do the job, I have 2 in my 1200 as the back exhaust fans.

I have two on my h70. Loud but the temp difference over stock fans is epic.

Quieter over time, no.

If it is too loud, then you should get a fan controller in which you prolly set around 1500rpm for a much quieter setup. But at the same time, they might click.

They are only the 2k rpm ones. I could only imagine how the 3k sound. My friend was so amazed at how much air they pushed but the noise is the drawback. I can hear it from downstairs haha. I guess I would rather have a cool unit than an overheating one.
