how do i revert back to stock bios?

Thread Starter
Hi, I have the asus p8p67 deluxe rev B3 motherboard. I updated the bios to 1503 from the asus website and now whenever i run prime95 or any games i get BSOD 124 error. Never happened before this bios update. Is there a way to roll back the bios to the stock version? If so, how? I tried updating to an older one and the bios said image outdated.

Also, I am getting a warning from AISuite saying my MB temp is at 123c. I have read that this happens from time to time and its not the actual temp, just an error.

Anyways, any ideas of how to get it back to stock?

There is no stock bios for motherboards really. Haven't tried updating mine yet, so I haven't experienced this "outdated image" error yet.

Do you know what bios version you had before you upgraded?

If so then you can just go look for that on the manufacturers website.

Yeah, but the problem is that when he tries to flash to any BIOS version older than 1503, it says that the BIOS image is outdated.

It's not like with our motherboards where we can freely flash to any BIOS version we want at any time.

I see. Well, then I guess OP is stuck with the new BIOS.

I have been think about my BIOS too, I cannot get my CPU stale at 3.8 anymore, and I just realized that I updated my BIOS.

Maybe I should try going back.

Yeah, I am currently back to 4.8 for now. No HT, but that is okay because it doesn't do much for what i do with my comp anyways. I think I may have had to just play with the settings some more in the bios for the over clock. When I Flashed the bios, it reset my overclock, and I didnt save a profile so i had to try and remember all my little tweaks. I might have it now tho.

Well we probably shouldn't even call it a BIOS since the OP and I have UEFI on our motherboards.
