2 Spinpoint f3 1 TB raid0 vs Vertex 2 60GB

which one is worth the money? 1 vertex 2 60GB SSD+1 1TB f3 or 2 spinpoint f3 1TB in RAID0?

compare the speed, access time and etc. which one is better? im tight on budget so i want to spend the least that i can please tell me ur thoughts on this two set up. i will be using a 2500k overclocking to 4.5Ghz or higher, and it will be mostly for gaming, schoolwork, and surfing the web.

SSD for sure.

But what about storage? Can't you get just one of the F3's too?

SSDs just aren't worth it to me right now, so the Spinpoints for sure.

Have you used one?

Ideally you would want the F3's for storage and the SSD for your OS and some programs. If you can't get both then you probably have to get the F3's because you'll fill up 60GB with your OS and games pretty quick.

thats what i put. 1 vertex 2 60GB + 1 1TB f3 . so its either two f3's or 1 SSD+1 f3. SSD set up cost about 70 more.

Take it from someone who has a 2x F3 setup.

If youre getting an SSD and 1x F3 for storage, there is NO reason to go with 2x F3's.

This is the HDTune results from my setup thats been shortstroked to 500gb;
