After finding the review I looked at like a week ago, you can see that at higher OC's theres a big difference in temps. The SA may be quieter but I'm looking for performance.
That's one review out of many out there. They're both equally good temp. wise. The SA is quieter and a better overall value. Buy whichever pleases you. You asked for opinions and that's what I'm providing.

I say go for GB, then again I am bias as I do own one... However they have proven to be very high quality using very high quality parts. Some people will say xx phaze is enough, but when overclocking SB, power delivery is very important as almost all the OC potential lies within the chip. You want to make sure power delivery is as stable and "clean" as possible in this case. The rest pretty much comes down to specific features of each board like: exp slots, uefi bios, color scheme, and extra featuers like onboard on/off, reset and clear cmos buttons etc.

As far as case goes, that is all personal preference and needs. Since your not going under water, why get such a giant fullsize tower? IMO a nice midtower > cheaper full tower if your not going under water and rad space isnt going to be an issue. Just my opionion however, like I said case is really personal preference once you get past specific needs.

Most mobos for SB are adequate at delivering power. if not, there would be tons of threads full of people complaining.

I'd say skip gigabyte. In 1155, Asus is clearly the one u should consider. UEFI is really handy- but of course, not necessarily needed.
