Vertex 3 120gb vs. C300 128gb - Page 2

Thanks but even though the results seem really close, I still can't decide which is the better buy.

Is OCZ more reliable? Is there any other reason I should get the vertex 3 over the C300?

Well, the Vertex 3 is brand new. Thus far I dont see any serious issues on the OCZ forums. Mainly it's people complaining about low speeds; usually as a result of mistakenly being connected to an SATA2 port. The forum however is still littered with Vertex 2 issues.

The C300 on the other hand from what I've seen is a good/reliable drive. It is tried and tested. I've only heard of one random OS freezing issue with a certain firmware not too long ago. I believe the solution was simple and it was posted on the Crucial forums.
