TFIII is louder? D: does it have an opening on the shroud at the bottom for air to be blown in? because if it does the RV03 will cool this thing like a beast

Probably not enough to make it worth the extra money on the sole basis of memory capacity.
yeah i was thinking the same
1920x1200 has 10% more pixels compared to 1920x1080

still would love to see some graphics or benchmark results comparing the two

i am quite biased towards asus, i have the asus 560 ti in my living room, i think it can do just as well as the msi hawk version, but i don't know for sure, hopefully i will get to test it some more next week, but i wouldn't count on it, anyway, i am going to take it as far as it will go and be stable for everyday gaming, which is probably well beyond the 1000/2000 that the gigabyte soc is rated...... we shall see though.....

1200mhz shall be my target then! what would that be 1200/2400/???? please tell me

would it be 1200mhz core / 2400mhz shader / 2800 memory? or 2600 memory?

another edit please comment on this! the asus model says you can overclock it by 50% and be safe .5*830=415+830=1245mhz core!

managed to dig this out of OCN

looks like 1GB is fine for 1920x1200 unless your rocking 32xAA

i will have to see how it goes. i need lots of AA due to having a 28 inch monitor

but hopefully Nvidia bring out a GTX595 with not so cheaped out parts. if they do i will be buying one

EDIT: just saw the guy was using Intel Q9550 and really old drivers

hopefully a i5 2500K @ 5.0Ghz and the new WHQL 270 drivers will give me more head room

yeah 1200/2400 on stock cooling and god only knows what they got the memory clock to

Firstly xx5 in nvidia means a die shrink, so no, you will just see revisions, not a whole new card. Also, a 2500k @ 5GHz will be more than enough.

It def. IS possible to run out of vram at 1920x1200 even with 1280MB, though. I just had it happen for the first time ever the other day, playing Stalker CoP Complete Mod, totally maxed. Had to drop texture resolution by one notch to keep perf from tanking after about 10 mins of playing.

And I've breached 1GB a few times with Crysis and Metro. Oh, and in Singularity ... of course, I was running SLI 64xAA at the time
Well with my 460 1GB I'm hitting 1015MB Vram in F1 2010 at 1680x1050 I only just got this card and wanting to upgrade it already Well, after all this is OCN Bad company 2 usually maxes out around 700 - 800 MB too. All settings maxed of course though

I believe 722MHz core. I use 1GHz core on my 460 and it beats 470s and 560s well over. The 560 only does about 5-15% better depending, that's clock for clock.
