Obviously it's slower than any true notebook.

For example, my father is an architect and for the uses he would like a tablet for at work he would need Windows 7. There is no other way around it. The applications and functions he requires have to be on Windows but the form factor would be wonderful.

True, but even surfing the internet is probably going to be slow just because of all the excess that a full windows os is going to bring with it. Didn't windows cancel their windows 7 tablet or basic or whatever it was suppose to be? That would have been perfect. My mother in law's desktop with two gigs of ram and a 2.0 ghz celeron is sluggish surfing on the internet with windows 7.

I'd be hesitant to blame any "potential slow Internet" on a New tablet , even with Win7 installed. I've seen 386 class machines with 512K memory fly through the internet, youtube video's. What did make them slow was Network bandwidth.

Also I've seen monster machine's Internet slowed to a crawl for the same exact reason. Usually something between point A and Point B is the problem for Internet slowdowns....not counting the absence of good A/V protection then all bets are off.

The Tablet does seem a tad pricey.

Pretty sure 499 euros = 725.9452 US dollars not sure where the $824 comes from. There are a couple of tablets that are around that price range and have similar features. The one I am looking at would be the G-Slate by T-Mobile, that looks pretty sleek and badass and it also running the latest Android 3.0 OS.

I think the first Tablet to come out with Advertised support for Development tools - (Photoshop, audio and video tools) is going to be a hit.

But unfortunately this is our current slate of manufacturers, and they are largely inept to what we actually might want, as opposed to what apple is selling, which is what they are chasing...why....Cause Apple told them so. /sarcasm

It ain't gonna happen, unless purely by accident. Maybe another yeah and a half I think, the stars will align.
