q9450 push to 3.2 ghz

Thread Starter
I overclocked my cpu to 3.0ghz at stock voltage (1.2125). I was wondering if I can push it to 3.2 ghz, because I hear that the q9450s don't do well with FSB near 400. I have a P5E ASUS Mobo. My current OC is stable for 14h and my CPU doesn't go over 40 C. Can my RAM handle the 400 fsb too?

My reason is I have a 570 and game on 1440x900 resolution so I need a fast cpu.

450FSB x8 = 3.6GHz should be a breeze with that system.

oh man, that sounds scary. I have a hyper 212 cpu cooler btw. So just raise FSB and Voltage and MOBO/RAM should hold?

Try to use all my settings from above, only use 400FSB instead of 450FSB, for 3.2GHz. But really, 3.6GHz on that CPU, with that cooler should be easy.
