Especially since I'm running out of time and am not sure if I'll have $$ for another DICE run

That CBB I got with the Classy only happened that one time, I never got it again after that...strange.

Are there any spots for temp sensors on the Classy? I swear the box came with like a bag of sensors, but I don't see anywhere to plug them in on the board and the manual doesn't say anything either.
Dice is cheap. Here i can get it at the grocery story for $1.29/lb, which is kind of expensive, but 10lbs should be plenty. The place i used to get it at was 20lbs for $13, but it wasn't weighed out and I always got more than 20lbs. Since i bought the dewar, I said never again to DICE. But i need $50 to fill my dewar, which isn't bad at all, just strapped for cash due to vacation coming up.

As for the cold bug, it's there on my 920 and the 970 as well. Pretty safe to assume its the board. If i can manage to improve efficiency by the end of the week, i might just go fill it. But if i can't improve efficiency, it might not be worth filling for little improvement.

A lot of D9's arent that great either, both my GSKill kits that have D9GMH are barely better than my ProMOS STT kit other than the fact that They will do near 800 3-3-3-8 when my STT wont do CAS 3 past 667. The D9 kits do almost 1100 4-4-4 @ 2.5v... its not really that great at all.

I bricked my nforce 5 board...so I guess I cant compete for DDR2

I know but I'm currently unemployed and have some other things I need to do financially

I think I'm going to shop around next time before buying DICE, because when I went they made me use self check out so it weighed it and charged me exactly I think.

Bring the dewar and gear out here to CA and we can bench here and win this thing

Hmm, I don't have any means of measuring temps so I don't know if I'm even hitting -50 ... I'd like to hope my pot gets close though

I still have some hopes for efficiency, a few things in the OS and a thing or two with clocks.

Are you going to do Sandra benches while cold? I don't think Sandra is too CPU intensive, so it seems like a waste of cold to do it? Then again, why not if you're already at some high stable clocks...

It wouldn't be cost effective for me to take my 50L with me to cali, but I will be there in two weeks. I'm going to be staying at my cousins house in rancho cucamonga. I've pretty much maxed out sandra. I can't seem to improve my scores. High cpu clocks aren't really necessary. I did everything with the SS, but I think i could get some crazy uncore with some LN2.

What clocks were you maxing it out at? What seemed to help the most?

Well, i didn't max out sandra, but I can't improve my scores anymore. Cpu speed didn't help much. I tried at 5.1ghz and at 4.8ghz. Results were pretty similar. Ram helps, uncore helps, sub-timings. Not that I know what i'm doing with the sub-timings, but messing with them can make some improvements. A bunch of small improvements can go a long way.

32m is where i'm really hurting right now.
