It sounds bad so I hope you get it sorted
I would leave it in the airing cupboard (or somwhere to let it fully dry out) with the cmos jumper set on and the battery removed with the battery terminals shorted. leave it for a good 12hours to a day.

That was my first thought cos Ive done it a few times before aswell, but I checked everywhere and cant find em!
Somthing wierd is going on with the windows install though, Im using the Win7 embedded beta version so it could well be a bug, but everytime it loads the o/s its acting like its just recovered from a crash or somthing and kinda like its just used a backup or system restore point to fix itself, then starts installing drivers for the new cpu then asks for a restart, but after the restart it just does the same again, over and over..!
So im thinking that I did save the screenys but the o/s has somehow restored itself to an earlier point , even though system restore isnt running and even if it was it shouldnt delete the screenshots!! and on top of that the screenshots were saved on a different partition to the o/s anywayz !!! LOL !
Its wierd thats for sure

I still havnt got a decent board though! but at least with the 10x multi it gives me a few extra Mhz, but you should still be better off with the extra bandwidth of the fsb.. your 580x9 should better my 520x10

I wont mension the ram timings / mhz though

my this board is really hard to get stable at ~5500, purely because of the way the GTL refs are setup in the BIOS....its stupid.

Had settings that were known stable up to 585 & it wouldnt pass @ 5.6 (560x10)
all CPU refs....makin me mad lol

you still have a pretty good chance....took me 600FSB to match your 520 on that mobo, purely because this one has a really really loose NB

cant wait to see what you got!

EDIT: plus your D9's are better than mine
unless your pumpin over 2.5v then maybe not

Benched this afternoon with dice, so here are my submissions.

This memory did not want to play nice at all, and I hit a FSB wall at 380 . I even managed to kill a dimm slot on my mobo, but at least I didn't kill my ram (I thought I had at one point).

Edit: It turns out that 32m run was good enough for gold on the bot

why you not use high NB speed for sandra?

nice job on pi though!

I was going to do some saltwater w/ ice freezing on my ram but I spilled a little and now the giga has water somewhere it doesnt like....

This ram was being a real pain in the @ss. For some reason it kept refusing to boot at decent speeds with the high NB, and I eventually ran out of dice. The Sandra scores are all on air, because I ran out of dice very quickly (my home-made pot burned through the dice so fast it was ridiculous).

I did the sandra on air just for some reference scores, then I moved on to dice, but I couldn't do anything in sandra under dice .

Maybe you used too much acetone or something? I also found that you really don't need as much dice as you would think. My first dice session i had no thermometer and just kept the pot filled. The second time around I had a thermometer and only add dice when temps started dropping. I didn't even keep it full.

It was my first time freezing my cpu with dice, so maybe I screwed something up, but I intend to buy more dice tomorrow and give it another shot. I'll use less acetone this time and see if it helps.

Its all part of the learning experience. Acetone goes through dice quick. Too much of it and you'll run out fast. Since my pot has holes in it, i fill with acetone just to where its at the edge of the holes. Then i add dice and if needed, i'll add more acetone. Its rare that I have to add any acetone after the initial amount.

Did you add anything to the inside of the pot to add more mass? I don't think you ever showed us any pics of it.
