Here's my entry for the AMD DDR2 class, an unlocked 555 and some new rev Ballistix. Went with some LN2 for the Superpi 32M but we ran out before we could optimize anything on Sandra . Plus the Bandwidth test was all glitched with four cores unlocked so I had to disable two in order to run it, didn't figure that one out until we ran out of LN2.

Latency: 57.0NS
Bandwidth: 11.83Gb/s
SuperPi 32M: 12 Minutes 57 Seconds

I will be entering the AMD DDR2 class with the worst motherboard I could possibly have...
Foxconn nforce 590 SLi, I'll be using a Phenom II 565BE...that SHOULD suprise you because the board does not support CPUs above 65nm Brisbane (think A64 X2 5000 BE as most recent).

Bios mods to the rescue, Phenom II support...hopefully it overclocks a little, I have no control over CPUNB volts

Subzero for DDR3 class looks like it will have to wait, I dont have any acetone and not enough money for LN2 unless I get about $1 ltr which wont happen around here.

I've tried with the only AM2+ board I have (Gigabyte 785G), terrible experience... hit an FSB wall at 280 and RAM voltage wouldn't go above 2.1V, the darned BIOS. I wasn't producing nearly competitive results, so I gave it up and reassembled the two PCs I tore apart for that one benchmarking build.

Funny thing

I'm pretty sure nforce5 is worse
Apparently modded bios for Phenom and Phenom II support doesnt want to boot off of CD drive so I have to install windows on a different machine. Some things had to be removed to make room for others

I dont even have multi control...just overclocking with HTT Ref clock.

Phenom II 565BE stock multi is 16, CPU hits a wall right before 4.2 because its not a very good sample it seems but it seems optimal settings for me will be HTT ~ 260...4160 CPU, 2600 NB and 1040 CAS 4-4-4-5.

Whether NB will do 2600 at stock voltage? I doubt it. Looks like I'll need to submerge the H70s rad in ice water
