*turnaround times for IMC make a good bit of difference in Read/Copy throughput..as well as tightening up tFW and 'round-trip' delay.
Can't give more uncore on phase

Was booting at 5GHz uncore on dice, but phase won't boot higher than 4.8GHz as I'm limited to 1.65V VTT.

I'll mess with subtimings, though I was sure it should have been closer to 25GB/s from the beginning.

Wowzer what a past week or so, been making a killin at work all last week and been busy the past two weekends too! So I never had enough time to push my X58 results... looks like I would have lost anyway (Great job 69_Goat!!)

Here's the only X58 update I did have a chance to update (PI) and also including older Sandra results I believe

So looks like my final X58 submissions will be as follows, had hopes for much better but didn't have enough time this round.

X58

PI - 6.45.422

Bandwidth - 25.46

Latency - 41.4

1155 These are on a B2 P67 UD7 board, don't mind the BIOS

1155

PI - 6.25.765

Bandwidth - 30.34

Latency - 45

Good luck to all!

@ Bass - have an avatar for me yet? I'm not liking this one the more I look at it

..D@mn son! 1.65vtt for real? Maybe this 930 is actually worth somethin..or it may be that Im not pushing mem speeds as high as you are.. but 4.9ghz uncore was fine for me with only 1.57v VTT 'real' ..also running 1.4v QPI PLL and 1.38v IMC core.. Hard to say really [for me anyhow..still getting the swing of shoving this i7 around].

*maybe its your mount for phase..?

Maybe my 990x has a weak-ish IMC or something, I can't boot with 1.5V at all, can boot at 1.485V about half the time but freeze if I try to up it another notch within windows.
I was hoping it was the ud3r that was the issue but same thing with the OC.

Same here on my 990X, I thought it was maybe damaged since it wouldn't take more? Can do 5Ghz uncore though , so not sure why the voltages are limited like that?

I can only boot 1.47, anymore even in windows and it fails. My 980X I can boot 1.7 if I want, so maybe 990X are just made to not allow much more than 1.5 on Vtt?

there was some sort of IMC revision from Intel on the 990x.. not really sure what it entailed though..could be something to do with what you speak of though.

*none-the-less ..still some amazing latency and uncores coming from those CPU's

Could be, I'll have to quit fighting the voltage & working more on tuning the memory & uncore for better clocks, haven't figured out how to stabilize even 4Ghz uncore for pi with this thing yet...

Im getting higher uncore stable by tweaking QPI PLL and IMC core.. 1.4/1.38 to run +4.7ghz uncore... 1.36/1.32v was fine up to a bit over 4.7ghz uncore..IMC skew of 100ps too

*havent tested my 920 in this mobo yet though.. but I will try using the same method to get it stable.
