It looks like you have minimal to no insulation there, were those sticks fine?

Any one know if there is a list of known post codes debugging?

Well I found this: Link
But 15 and 97 aren't listed as anything, and those are the two I'm getting right now

In all seriousness, what's the max you've pumped into VTT? I'm pretty high right now to make 4.46uncore and 2214 7-10-7 pass 32m...which I'm surprised as hell that my 1600 mushkin kit is taking me this far lol.

What's pretty high? I think i've done a little over 1.5v, but that's usually with the chip cold. But i think i've done around 1.5v on water. But I don't really remember well. I was thinking about trying my brothers PSC kit on my SB set up, since my hypers don't play well on it.

I agree with the 1.4v - 1.45v daily limit..at least for i5..i7, 1156 may not be as safe to run higher vtt, as the latency is much tighter vs, i5. For these stupid Clarkies, it seems by the time you find the latency/vtt your looking for, you have a dead cpu.. they will scale clock speed well, but suck for latency.

Ok so my cheap ram isnt working too well so. what is the max safe voltage i can run to get them faster or go up in smoke? im thinking of using foil and dry ice so give me some ideas?

Okay El Gappo, you totally ruined this for me, run "dual channel"?

Do you know how hard it is going to be to get an overclock on 24 GB of RAM in Dual Channel?

I believe this joke will expire by the year 2013~2014, where there will be single modules of 12GB....

lol....maybe the answer is in 8GB of RAM? taking out 4 sticks is very easy....

I picked bad timing to stick my setup in my new case, so I can't really get at my measure points with a DMM...but I'm pushing +350mV in BIOS, or around 1.55v in E-LEET (reports 1.67v in monitor though) but IIRC actual voltage via DMM is only like 10-20mV higher than what BIOS says.

I'm seeing how high my memory can go, which is surprising the hell out of me...I just passed a 32m run with 2220 7-10-7 and 4.4ghz uncore. 2240 gives me an error in 32m, so I'll increase some memory volts (1.8 right now) and see how it goes. If the most you've done is a little over 1.5v cold, then I think I won't pass where I'm at now. Temps are fine, but I'm not looking to pop anything.

IIRC AM3 can handle some decent volts, because it has a ddr2 controller built in and ddr2 is speced at 2.1v usually

you're good to probably 1.55v VTT on air for benching. 1.9v+ vdimm should be OK
