Can 2000+Mhz DIMMs have a more normal Mhz (1600) but then lower the timings significantly?
Or would they be just as good as lets say 1600Mhz DIMM's trying to lower the timings?

I meant like would 2000Mhz 9-9-9-24 DIMM's at 1600Mhz 9-9-9-24 overclock (timings-wise) better than DIMM's with a stock 1600Mhz 9-9-9-24. Lets say they are both Corsair Dominators or XMS3's
