You buy the copperhead sticks from LSD?

Also, don't tell me you're not going to use the GTX2's... No sense in babying them!

Not directly from LSD, but he did hook me up with the place I could find them.
I'll use the gtx2s as well, but not freezing them yet. I'll baby them until something as good or better gets released, or there is a goal to meet that may be worth it.

Can't risk them too much, the man I got them from is too well armed & loved these...

Hahaha, when I first got it from Moltar that is what I had to do that guy is sketch, I tried to do a Insurance claim with him for the Phase because of the broken Capacitor...and he was like "I'll keep the $330 and send you $20" ... I was like no, I'm not going to get you paid just for having horrible customer relations.

The NB coldbug is a pita. Can't wait til my thermo comes back from RMA.

Think I'm about ready to put the CPU pot on.
Details about killing and reviving

Not having the vNB issue like you are though. She's booting fine with 1.55v in BIOS. PL 10, DRAM settings to fast and fast.

Yeah, getting the right memory to post in these things is tough. The 'golden' set of Tracers is liking it ATM. Next time I boot it I'll save the SPD off them and upload it for ya. Maybe it'll help, maybe not.
88 definitely seems like ram, pre 88 is write to ram, post 88 is read from ram...

I'm gonna get some benching in this weekend, I already put up a lot of points for the CC & it's time for some fun. I have the STT chromes in a set of copperhead heatspreaders ready to put the pot on... I'll take some pics of the way I insulate as I go.
That could also explain why their prices dropped towards the end for some of the "higher" end kits

I think you do, sir.

I'm doing this with a 1100T CPU that will not run Prime95 at your stated 24/7 clocks 32M is definately not a bench that heats the CPU up either so why not duke it out on fair terms?
This CPU does 4.1 Ghz stable on water at 1.52v load, it needs 1.44v for 4 Ghz does not bench above 4.3 in 3D. It defines the term "mediocre"...but do as you wish

I'll have some DDR3-2000 6-6-6 sandra numbers up hopefully on my STT 2000C7. I still think the sticks arent that great.

I'm just getting some OSes & sandra installed & have a question, when running sandra I get the scores in the bottom field, but the 2 fields above that show the cpu/chipset info & the one that has the colored boxes with the score stay blank.
How do I get anything to show up in there?

Are you using the Refresh button at the bottom?

Interesting.
Phenom uses a lot of power and gives up a lot of heat on load...you are going to want a pot with a lot of mass and try to also keep as much surface area as possible because there's no coldbug.

Yeah, I have refreshed several times & get the scores in the bottom field every time, the info field just stays blank The larger window on the top right just stays white with a purpleish diamond in the middle, those don't change.
Just uninstalled & reinstalled & still the same, I am getting an error on the install although it all seems to work fine, gonna try it in win7 & maybe re-download.
