Well what the hell? 3 min? Hmmm. It may have been because of diagnostic mode then. I only got 9.051s 1M in diagnostic mode, compared to 9.281s normal(in XP) at the same settings and same bios. I bench using SZ17. That was over a year ago though. Plus, after that persistant C1 error code that happened at the beginning of this competition, my RAM doesn't run lower timings as well. I was lucky to recover from that. I may have damaged something, like, the memory controller. I had to up the CPU core voltage to 1.32 load(from 1.312v), disable CPU fast read, and readjust the the GTLref's a little after that last run to get the system fully stable again. If there is anything to gain, I'm not financially willing to go forward at this time. Really don't want to wreck my daily driver.

More like two minutes, but there's still tons of time to be gained!

Just check Beep's run. He was quite a bit lower than you, albeit better memory, but he beat you significantly.

I checked HWBot and Core2Duos with DDR2 around 4.8GHz should definitely be between 9:30 and 10:30 for 32M.

Here's my intro guys! Just playing around still, subtimings on auto for now except tRFC. So no tweaking yet really, just testing out Bassplaya's XP Vs. mine.

Still not sure if I want to use hexa core CPU either like FTW mentioned, the older CPU's have much better bandwidth but it's hard to decide cause these can do so good at everything else!
Entered the superpi score, sorry lsd but found in the rules with the screenshot example that the red box in the info panel is a must have, so have to reject the sandra scores.

So tonight i decided to play with my old faithful e8400 and a couple of sets of ballistix
Ive got quite a few sets of ddr2 and Ive always thought of the Ballistix as been some of the slower sets. They will reach respectable Mhz and oc higher than most sets but usually clock for clock in most benchmarks they come 2nd best!!
Anywayz the first set started to play up early on so I quickly swapped em out for the 2nd better set.
I was quite supprised actually cos at the moment I havnt got a good 775 board for ocing so Im using my old Maximus Formula x38 which can only do about 525-530 FSB max and in just a few hours managed these results>>

Latency @ 55.0ns

Bandwidth @ 10.063GB/s

Spi32m @ 9m59.875secs

A couple of things to note, the sisoft sandra latency window isnt showing the graph or info. Im not sure why but presumably its because of the chopped down tweaked os Im using. The bandwidth result is in a different os and shows all info.
If the Latency result is judged not aceptable then I have a 55.4ns that shows everything
Secondly , the motherboard tabs show the board as a x38 Rampage Formula because Im using the Rampage Formula Bios mod on the Maximus
Entered the superpi & bandwidth scores, will need to get the latency test with the info field showing

Well my scores aren't to bad for never doing this.

I can compete in 32mil with my i5..but no shot at latency and bandwidth at all for ddr3 im afraid

* 7-7-7-21 @ 1000mhz is ~60ns latency in win7x64/sandra test for i5 IMC

I knew my time should be better, just not sure what the problem was. I might just have to yank the mobo out and throw some LN2 on it screw it. My local welding supply store told me they would fill any container I brought to them. I've got a couple backup systems anyway.

I have the same problem with my Am3 ddr3 setup my chips IMC is crap an my mem is even worse. I was only able to get 7-11-9-24-27-1T @ 2000mhz O yea @ 2.1V

pff..yeah, thats rough. I could squeeze a bit more out of the QPI if frozen..but RAM wouldnt be stable in that range anyhow [22-2300mhz]..so latency is what it is..and only cpu speed can scale from here. So its DI/LN for 32mil or bust now..not even going to rerun sandra dont think

Well the ram i have was $50 new on newegg an stock 2000mhz @ 9-11-9 1.76V it took me covering them in dry ice an turning them white then 2.1V to get the timing i had.
