Turn off your power supply and hold down the Clear CMOS button. And yeah... that chip was happy as could be at -70C.
I have two buttons on the board, tried both, even extended hold downs, and even powered off psu and pulled the battery. Same thing every time.
I've got it torn down right now...and the back side was pretty frosty, but I thought as long as it was frosty it would be fine?
How far should I go with the eraser on the backside? I just did the center of the backplate, and a few spots where I saw contacts coming through from the other side...
Not too sure what my issue was/is.
