Funny you say that though, I have these 2x1gb OCZ Gold DDR2 667 4-4-4-12 sticks here...and I have an M4N78 Pro in the closet that I could get my friends Athlon x2 64 3700 (I think) ... orr if I wanted to get sketchy I could get my M4A79T + 965 from my dad and use my Mushkin sticks.

Too much work I think, it's been so long I almost forgot how to OC AMD lol.

Arg, none of my pictures even came out good

This is all I got for today, and I'm pretty sure I ran 32m less than 10 times...I spent most of the time tinkering around which sucked. Efficiency sucked compared to my runs on water. I had about ~10lb's of DICE.

Oh well, hopefully next time everything will go smoother from the start

Ah, I've been forgetting to do that of recent...but I think I did the "partial" install before and it didn't work. Where can I get the full install? No internet on the benching OS.

Congrats
Interesting, I got a very slow 7.29 as well at 5ghz...like I mentioned I still need more OC tuning. I think we are going to come up with similar scores haha.
Yeah I'm worried about him hahah, he's seconds away from sub 7m and "hasn't been having things go well" so if all the sudden he catches a break, he's gonna be hard to beat.

I think I'm gonna go work on lapping my pot lol. Gotta get it ready for the next session.

I prefer the OCX tweaker.

BTW everyone this is what you should get as a result of wazza:
This is a 200GB size install, takes about 2 minutes to boot on a good day and runs about 80 processes on normal...even gaming often runs me up into the 70%+ ram usage area in which windows throws a low memory warning. The install is $h**. However, disabling all startup programs and going through and disabling unneeded processes gets you this far.

As you can see I start out with 150MB free, end with 410MB free

Do you want a link to the OCX SPi Tweaker?...lol what "benching OS" are you using, something you tweaked? ...networking can be left on and you dont really lose any time unless you are looking at hundredths of seconds

Did you ninja edit or did I really miss everything you typed?

I'll try out OCX SPi Tweaker, looks like it works well...does it need .net too?
Oh, and yes I want a link to it thanks! I thought you said "do" I have a link at first, lol.

I've been asked to not really mention the benching OS, if the creator of it want's to share then that's up to him. When I run Pi I'll tell you that I'm down to 10 running processes

Well, it would be more hassle to get the internet drivers onto the benching OS than I feel like doing...mainly plopping in my Mobo disk and installing it but then once I have internet all these pop ups from Windows come about finding new hardware and wanting to know if it should search the internet for drivers...pretty annoying.
I just install benching OS, copy over the things I need from my USB Drive, and start benching.

flowen I'm gonna tell you right now chopped up XP is slower than not chopped up XP...I have an XP install with no net, themes, security etc because it's cut down...it only uses 45MB of ram and runs 11 processes including SPi/Task Manager...and I got this dirty Vista install within a second of it.

This Vista 32 install has Avira virus scan running...

Full install SP3 w/ wazza+maxxmem with most everything process/startup prog wise disabled is most likely faster. (If you have time you can test this and I think you will be suprised)

I was able to use the OCX SPI tool while the BTUK tweaker doesnt start up on that install even the OS is trash and useless.

EDIT:
Yes I do a lot of ninja edits.

EDIT 2:
Example ...pay CLOSE ATTENTION to avail. ram

10 process XP cut down crap (~400MB install uses almost no ram...)

My entry on Vista Home Premium 32 bit, large crap install that sucks even for 24/7...23 processes running, even aero, virus scan, networking etc

I find the points interesting.

If I were to win bandwidth/latency both but place 3rd in 32M (even if I was more efficient) because some guys had DICE and LN2 to play with for CPU clocks that would leave me with 27 points...

Then the guy who placed second on both bandwidth/latency but won Pi would win overall.

Its all because of the points gap.
