Thanks guys, yeah 9 months. Usually my builds take me about 3 months. But ive been slow with money on this one. If i hadnt moved out this year, this build would probably already be done. lol.

How does that LED plate in the bottom work though? Is it like smoky plexi over a plate filled with LED strips? o.o

Well the s-light is lit up by an LED strip on only one side of the panel. It illuminates a thick 10mm panel that is sand blasted on one side. Then this refracts the light upwards into the white acrylic which is just sand blasted to make it look smooth. You could also leave it glossy.

More info on murderbox.com. It's a product they sell for the tj07.

The color is based on a warmer set of LEDs. Normally it's a more white blue color. But for my build I wanted it to have an aged look.

Yeah, I know, hes waiting for CES 2012 to reopen the store. I got this panel by pure luck. MDPC is close with him so Nils at MDPC had one waiting for me.
