I am thinking the same thing...could use the money I save on getting 2500K and put it toward a better SSD...like a vertex3??....

I'm not really an expert on SSD's but I do have 2 of them that have done me very well. I have an intel one for my sig rig and an adata one for my netbook. No issues whatsover with either one! Its pretty amazing really.... I would never go back to a regular HDD with any of my computers. They are sooo much faster!

If I was going to get one it would be a Crucial. I just dislike OCZ as a company. Way too many bad experiences when trying to RMA ram and talking to their tech support.

I would also recommend no less than 64 gb. I have a 40 gb now in my sig rig and its a real struggle to keep it clean. It's just not enough space.

Was looking at 120GB vertex3...the speed of these drives are astounding...

You will not be disappointed with the Vertex 3. I personally don't have one myself, but a little researching on them will just show why you would want one.

You also mentioning dropping the 2600k and getting the 2500k. Unless you know you actually NEED the 2600k, then you dont need it, I always tell people that. HT doesn't even do good in games anyways.

I know everyone has already mentioned upping the 1333 to 1600, so no need to mention this again...even though I just did =/

I'd also recommend getting either an NH-D14 or a Silver Arrow.

Everything looks really sexy though. You're going to love those XFire 6950's, especially if you get them both 2GB and unlock the shaders on them. My gawd, powaaaaaaaa.
