1100t running to hot??? - Page 2

Another thing I would suggest is try installing the radiator in different positions_ Try it with the water hose lines on top, then try it with the water hose lines on bottom*(Hopefully you get what I mean) It could help with moving the water around better.

I will try with rad hoses on top position havent tried it yet so worth a go. Will let you know if it improves any. what about the fan from newegg i posted would that help. im using the corsair one to push runing at 1800 then i have a 1200 rocketfish or whatever pulling on the other side of rad. I know not great fans but id think at 3.7 shouldnt be hitting 60 so fast.

With two different fans on each side that could cause restrictions in airflow

Forsay one fan is able to move 50CFM of air, while the other fan is only able to move only 40CFM of air_

If one fan is pushing 50CFM of air against the one thats pushing only 40CFM of air, you might be creating a problem where the hot air is not being moved through the radiator efficiently_ This might cause the hot air being pushed through the radiator to force itself back inside_

Ah its tough to explain lol, but I hope you get my theory_ Although I sorta doubt its your problem and I'm not quite too sure how my theory really comes into play.

But I work on automotive air intake systems(I remember a fellow who came in with an electronic turbo installed & the problem was that with the electronic turbo installed in the air intake system it actually Hinder the airflow instead of increasing it due to the fact that the engine sucked in more air than the electronic turbo could force in thus causing restriction in the airflow and creating less horsepower than he thought)

Well I put the tubing up and left the side of my case of didnt see past 48 on ten min of prime by then id ussally hit 60 and stop b/c of the heat. So its a little improvement. I do hear a lot of air in the h50 when it first starts up could there not be enough fluid in it???

That's a great improvement, And I'm affraid that the 46C may be the best your gonna get, mine was about the same but I had the CoolIT Vantage A.L.C at the time.

You sir, just found out your problem =]

I suggest you increase airflow to that case_ Add a front intake fan or a side intake fan_

48C thats a HUGE improvement and thats the best you're gonna see, it pretty much matches the capabilities of the Corsair H50

Well im thinking some of it is my case dont think it has good airflow i have front fans one side and one top but all 80mm then the 120's on the rad. the case is an apevia was 50 dollar range. Might just have to sit at 3.7 till i get a better case and cpu cooler i suppose.

I would also try to get a fan at the top of your case if you haven't got one, and make it as an exhaust to vent hot air out of the case, the Mosfet's I presume would be pretty close to that rad which would slightly affect it's cooling capability's.

The MOSFET's can hit 100C+ at some points at heavy heavy load

Yea the mosfet's are pretty close to the rad and i do have a 80mm on top no space for 120 dud for a case thinking of getting the NZXT Phantom.

I see, Well if you do upgrade your case, You may notice a even better tempature result due to airflow within the case re-directing the heat from the mosfet's out of the top case faster than what a 80mm fan can handle
