Sums it up perfectly, thanks a lot

How much did you spend on this machine a few months ago? I have to ask.

Now that I think about it, you probably get better cooling, cuz you get to use 2 heatsinks on two cores wheras you could only get 1 heatsink one two cores if you only have 1 CPU.

£150. Don't rage, don't tell me it was bad for the price because I'm fairly happy with it Okay, tell me, the suspense is killing me. Oh, and I spent £60 on a graphics card too.

Probably, probably. Unfortunately in Speccy it doesn't show the temp of my processors (I'm guessing they don't have a temp reader or something?).

It's actually not that bad. The performance probably isn't that good, but it seems that you don't actually do heavy computing.

Good to hear then The performance is the best I've ever had on any of my past computers, and I love it I know the RAM is old (DDR) and the mobo is old (has an AGP slot, haha) but I plan to build my own computer when I get some money.

What tasks are classed as heavy computing, may I ask?

Your 2 Xeons = 1 Pentium D. Those old xeons are built on the same arch as Pentium 4s, just to give you an idea of performance. Your dual socket machine is not too bad, It could run basic server functions, SOHO stuff....
