Games in November

Thread Starter
November, 2011:
- Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim
- Battlefield 3

I think that those 2 games alone are enough reason for me to upgrade my sig rig and get a faster graphics card. The only question is.. I wonder if I will need to upgrade everything else to keep up with a newer GPU?

And I'm kinda wanting to wait a bit too, maybe there will be price drops in hardware come November..

And a 120Hz 1080p monitor for FPS games would be nice... Maybe the GTX590 or the HD6990 will be at a lower price by then.. It should be able to handle both of these games at max details, right? ... Hopefully?

Pretty sure I would need a faster CPU to avoid bottlenecks, but a GPU like those would run on my existing LGA775 motherboard, right?

You can always upgrade to an i7 imo. If you has the cash.

Oh, don't forget Modern Warfare 3! From what I've heard, it will be released on November too.

I'm pretty convinced that Battlefield 3 will be better then Modern Warfare 3 but we'll just have to wait and see

Also, isn't an i7 a 1155 socket type? I was hoping to keep my existing board (if possible). Not sure if the UD3L is equipped to handle a video card like the ones I mentioned above though..

oh yeah, but i think there's a 1156 i7 socket. Don't know what's with the 1366 version though. But heck, it's still an i7.

I think your Quad might still pack a punch but yeah, if you're looking a replacement, go for QX9650?? XD
