well, not necessarily. The top fps player might just like a mouse for how it feels. The science behind it, he might not know.

someone gave his reasons for liking the mice, but he didn't acknowledge it. also, I like how he counted the number of "useless" posts, his included.

to OP once again, I suggest you go to a store with lots of mice and try out the feel of each one. Remember or write down the ones you liked, and then check out reviews of them online to see if they're good when it comes to tracking ability, etc. then make your decision.

Should we hand over a guide-to-everything-ever in every single thread? If it is misunderstood, he can ask to delve further or google. Quit being a wad and be productive.

Personally, I like the deathadder, however mine died on me after about a year of use, which is not really a big deal. Fingers sit comfortably and the mouse responds well in both speed and accuracy.

Edit: Read the rest of the thread. Ya'll people postin in a troll thread at this point.

It's easy to say which mouse is better in most categories except shape/grip. Such categories would be: perfect control speed, lift off distance, mass, correction and acceleration.

He pressed them to expand on their reasons rather than use a bunch of acronyms, that's all. My point was that the mouse a professional gamer is using should be a proven performer that doesn't put them at a disadvantage in competitive play, therefore it's probably safe to say it would be a good mouse to consider buying.

I think a top LAN players off-the-record opinion would be more appropriate than joe schmoe from OCN, but I still don't think that their opinion is enough. A lot of these players are sponsored, and so they may be under pressure to say certain things. I would say that they're mostly honest though, because they love the games they play. Fatal1ty for example, recommends not using his own brand's mouse in his blog. Although to be honest, his reasons are pretty lame.

http://news.fatal1ty.com/fatal1ty-bl...e-sensitivity/

this example is totally stolen from some noobs mouse guide btw.

i'm going to have to lock this as it's not going anywhere.

please be civil in future, and don't troll, or accuse others of being trolls - it doesn't help anything.

report it and let a mod take care of it
