I believe the Fractal cases lend themselves well to water cooling, but not so much for air cooling..a Silverstone would be good if you plan to air cool.

Budget will be close for water cooling and a case, depending on what case and if you are going to add to put the GPU on water too (water blocks are expensive as hell).

The guys in the water cooling subforum can do it for you no doubt though, they love to spend $500

Code:
  1. Water Cooling
  2. Eyefinity
  3. Mechanical Keyboard + Mouse + ________?
  4. SSD + __________?
  5. Case + Beautifying my PC haha
  6. New Monitor
  7. CPU Cooler
  8. htc hd7[sexy phone haha]

My opinion on your upgrade options:

a) 6+4+3 = Dell U2311H, 60GB SSD, Mechanical keyboard + mouse
b) 6+4+5 = Dell U2311H, 60GB SSD, HAF-X or something similiar

Eyefinity might not be the greatest idea, i live in the barracks and have a roommate so space is somewhat limited... maybe a gaming monitor with a higher resolution?

Water Cooling is something i'm interested in, especially getting this 6950 under water...

A new case would probably come hand in hand with water cooling and beautification...

Any ideas on possible other upgrades or actual products of ideas on my list and WHY i should go with that particular product would be greatly appreciated.... Ideas I consider will get +REP if you can sell the idea to me
best upgrade for u:
another hd6950 + 4gb (2+2gb) more ram + better psu: corsair hx850,
hd6950 2gb $244
2x2gb xms3 ram $46 approx
corsair hx850 $164
total- $454
Hope u like my help

As good as a mech board is, why is everyone suggesting it? It's not like it makes the PC run faster and it has nearly 0 effect in gaming the only real benefit of a mech is if your a web designer, office worker or coder and it provides less strain on your hands/fingers.

OP: An SSD is whats going to give you the best performance boost. Then I would go maybe a CPU liquid loop.

I wouldn't worry about a new case, that Apevia looks quite reasonable. But if you feel a real need to get a case then a CM690 II Advanced, a very nice case indeed and allows you to mount rads inside the case with minimum fuss.
