Think I am going to stay put with overclocking the nb...

So, anyone need 8 gb of ram? lol

Thats not going to do much at all considering that the NB voltage is attached to the HTT/CPU Clock and not the CPU/NB.

Now had he of risen the HTT/CPU Clock from 200MHz then yeah it would help.

Any reasons why this is happening? I am getting the cpu overclocked between 3.8-4.0 ghz with out any heat issues or blue screens.

Any help would be great. Thank you.
How are you clocking the CPU-NB? Raising it's multi or using the FSB?

Have you stressed just the CPU clock to find stability?

If you read above, even with no changes at all to the BIOS other than upping the CPU-NB voltage it still wont post, indicating a heavily stressed IMC, either down to a weak IMC or RAM - hence my comments.

So less of the obvious comments with "...." at the end.
Listen to what this guy suggested, it seems your IMC can't handle what you're throwing at it yet. Assuming you are using appropriate volts for what you're attempting.

Loosen up the ram timings first, keeping the same divider. Sometimes changing dividers will bring about other instability. If that still doesn't work, mind as well mess around with divider too.

There are decent gains to be had from OC'ing NB.

Raising the volts to the NB chip itself can actually help.

Also, you don't need to remove your CMOS battery when clearing CMOS. You can just turn the power off on your system, jump/move pins/push button (what ever method your board uses) to clear, then power back on.

How did you get to 2600 mhz? With that voltage of 1.25v? whats else did you have to change?

If you haven't seen this http://www.overclock.net/amd-motherb...hase-list.html it has your mobo as being rated for 125w TDP CPU. The 1090T at 4.0 is 140w could this be making things a little tough on the mobo? Yes it could! You may want to think about upgrading the mobo if you want to OC the 1090T.

I'm at 3.8 ghz, it runs fine, and seems to be a huge difference with the nb at 2400 mhz than at 2000 mhz. Haven't had any heat issues or instability yet.

you should stay away from 2000 with that being your cpu/nb and the ht link as well,

my overclock is at 4.0 ghz and some change, and it's 24/7 overclock and i lowered my multiplier and increased my cpu bus speed and then backed off the cpu/nb's multiplier as well as the ht link multiplier and my cpu voltage is around 1.44 i think im on a different comp right now and a little busy
