Eh, I'm not liking the thinness. I love the thinkpad, great device, but this is just too thin for comfort. I'd be scared crap-less to drop or put too much pressure on this thing. Heck, even the freakin keyboard. Ugh, I hate them. We need the original keyboards.
Though, can't lie. The internals are actually pretty beffy for how thin this is. I hope the cooling is better then the MBA.

I do like the MBA a lot though, new design is way better than the original.
You make it sound as if it is biased. Wait till you hear the mac crowd.
If anything, apple gives the quality of Acer's lower end models in a flashy aluminum case. Poor quality parts (harddrives with the highest failure rate around), shoddy cooling design where you don't get anything remotely close to have the CPU function how it is designed to, and a premium price tag. You either like it for its "hipness" or the OS.
I wish apple would stay as a software company and actually compete with windows. Open up more suppliers and I'm sure they would have significantly better models available to the public. Frankly, Apple has no clue on what they are doing in the PC market.
But that is all off topic.Edited by Domino - 4/23/11 at 9:59pm
