The 6790 is not good price to performance

None of the boards being discussed have the two pcie slots. Of the intel boards I've seen that are microatx with sli there is one slot between not two so one would want blower style not open air coolers for sli / cf.
Yes, but I said I would only go that route if I was using Standard ATX, not Micro ATX, if Micro ATX then probably the GTX 460 2Win. So not to worry, there will be ample spacing between the PCI-E slots. In any case, the 6790's in crossfire offer GTX 570 performance, but do so at $50 cheaper and as I'll be running 1680 x 1050, I don't really need more than that.

Add some decent MOSFET cooling and you're set
I have the Revision 1.0 of this board and can say it's been a good MB for the price. It's targetted at HTPC I think and has HDMI, DVI & Analogue outs with 4250 graphics. It will soon become my HTPC after my next upgrade. I was disapointed that Gigbayte is not supporting BD on the Rev 1.0 board and they have since brought out Rev 3.1 black socket supporting BD. I'll wait for 990FX though since it is only a few weeks away to upgrade if BD proves to be a winner and SLI is possible.

You can overclock on this board, see my W7 Rig specs. I came to overclock.new to see what others where doing with it but there are few threads on it.
