I'd suggest some Vick's vapor rub. That stuff is pretty cool from what I've seen. Plus, sit next to your rig and you'll never have to worry about congestion.

But that stuff is a HEAT BARRIER. Its purpose is to protect other things from extreme heat. So if you put it on a heatsink, then it will prevent any heat from escaping off the heatsink.

So, I don't have to experiment with that stuff to know what the result would be. The description of what it does explains it all.

There's no such thing as a gel that is cold.
You can't have inanimate objects operating at below ambient temperatures.
Study physics to find out why.

Cold is nothing more than the absence of heat. Study how refrigeration works. Making things cold takes energy. Energy is not self contained. Energy also releases heat...

This is a type of thermal paste. You wouldn't put it on the heatsink, but in between a heatsink and a power transistor.
