Best TV Tuner For Gaming

Thread Starter
I have some game consoles that I still like to play on here and there. I also do some montages and recordings for players on GameBattles and MLG for a side job. I got a tv turner but it has some major latency. Basically what I want to be able to play on my computer montior and possibly record at the same time. Any ideas?

Just use your tv to play?

I need to save room in my room at the barracks I will be at. I use my desktop more than a tv so it's only reasonable to use my desktop for everything. As long as I can record and/or watch tv and play console games on it.

Few things we need to determine first and the fact that we're not tuning into any television broadcasts, I'd probably call them recorders as they're simply recording the video feeds.

Anyways, what we need to know is 480i or 720p or 1080p and do you mind having an external recorder does it have to be internal?

You can find USB recorders with composite, but they'd be software based and not nearly as good as an external recording unit. With externals you could record in HD and have less CPU usage.

Personally I don't mind what 480i, 780p or 1080p. I plan on using it to watch tv on my computer, record shows it need be and also be able to play any console system on it with out really bad latency issues. I have 5 internal hdd and I just plan on keeping it all on there if it gets recorded.
