Need advice on watercooling for both GPU/CPU.

Thread Starter
So my obsidian 800D is on it's way and I'm really looking forward to watercooling my rig but I needed to know what would be a good solution for both my GPU's and CPU on water that will fit INSIDE the case.

Any ideas? Rep all around too. ^_~

OK this is going to be fun.

Go with the Black Ice GT Xtreme 360mm rad, this can be mounted inside the case

Pick a res that you like the look of

A laing D5 MCP 355 pump with a top so you can add your own fittings.

CPU wise I would check out the EK supreme HF family, Epic and sexy.

I'd probably have to use the EK FC 480's on your GPU's with some SLi Fittings for between them

As for fittings, it's mainly down to your choice of what you like the look of, but I particulaly like the compression fittings.

As for fans, Scythe Gentle typhoons 1850 RPM model, you can use a fan controller to slow them to around 1200 for pretty much silent running. Just turn them up when benching etc.

Alternately, you can go with XSPC RX 360 rad with AP-14s.

The RX 360 is good but I believe the Black Ice GTX outperforms pretty much all the other rads.

I think the 240mm Black Ice GTX rad is actually better than some of the cheaper 360mm ones.

Yeah, watercooling isn't cheap.

you're looking at at least $150 just for the two GPU blocks. Then you've got the fans, I gotta spend about £75 for the 6 fans for a push/pull setup, those are the same gentle typhoons

I would go with a CPU only setup and add the GPU blocks later.
