Side panel intake/exhaust? - Page 4

Gelid Silent are pretty good and cheap.

Also Scythe S-Flex E 1200 rpm fans are pretty good and quiet for case fans. Only 20 dB. The F versions are much louder though.

Does anyone know how many db is cm690 ii adv stock fans are? and how many rpm?

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=27129&...facture=Noctua How about this one, noctua nf-p12

Or all of my fans to http://ncix.com/products/?sku=42176&...e=COOLERMASTER and make my case's fan grills all blue led lit this one looks pretty good. 19db, 2000rpm. I think it'd be neat if like, the top two, the side two, and my bottom, were ALL blue LED HAHA

Just a heads up, all fan labels are lies. They give you more or less of an idea of what to expect, but they're still lies. These are the supposed stats of the CM default fans:

Top/Front fans: 140 x 25 mm Blue LED fan x 2 / 1200 RPM / 17 dBA / 60 CFM
Rear fan: 120x25 mm fan x 1 / 1200 RPM / 19 dBA / 44 CFM

But in reality they'll be closer to 25-30+dBA or more, just due to the mechanics of life. They're quiet though. As you add more fans the sound will add as well.

The R4s are very nice fans, a little noisier but still very nice. The NF-P12s are good, if somewhat overpriced fans. Very quiet and move a reasonable amount of air. Those are designed to produce higher static pressure however, for heatsinks. The http://ncix.com/products/?sku=38379&...facture=Noctua cost the same, are slightly quieter and move more air, with lower static pressure.
Also Panaflos are nice. But I'd still suggest 140s.

EDIT: For radiators/heatsinks you want fans that have high static pressure, decent CFM, for case fans you want fans that have high CFM and decent static pressure.

Hm... Maybe just one. I gotta get a blue led fan anyways. I'll get one of those, and two for my 50, and... that's...4 more fans. Help!

(that's my last plea for 140mm heh).

Bed time for me.
