I had a 655 and it was great. I had to sell it.
One of my friends uses a 35X and he loves it, but I wouldn't really know what I think because I have no experience with one YET.

EDIT: Forgot to say that currently I am using a Danger Den CPX-Pro and so far it is great.

I really like the 35X for several reasons:

-Factory top with warranty + Barsb = No need to mess around with buying pieces and losing warranty.
-PWM = Noise/Power throttling. I've got mine set at 28% doing office work and ramping up to 70% under heavy loads. This means the pump runs completely silent AND cool most of the time.
-Strongest current model DDC pump = It is stronger than a DDC3.25 even after adding a top.
-Efficiency - Pushing nearly 25% efficiency vs the D5s rather poor 17% in comparison means less heat dumped into the loop.

It's not the cheapest buy out there, but probably my favorite pump at the moment because of the PWM feature.

Just remember if you choose the 655-B, that it is substantially weaker than the 655. 655-B = Setting 4 only!
