I definitely would NOT even let that PSU near my rig let alone power a 5770.

I know it's terrible but would it still work?

and you answered it because I edited it out haha sorry

so the second part of my question: Would it be possible to move all my stuff into a new motherboard and OC it from there

No. The risk is not worth it.

Yes, but if you want to OC, scrap that PSU. There are Plenty that will power your rig and a 5770 for cheap.

** Would it fit inside my Dell Inspiron 518 case? **

^ okay thanks for the answer

for future reference, not to play 20-questions, could I move all my stuff to a new motherboard, then would it be possible?

You can move your stuff to a new motherboard but it may or may not fit into your dell case. You could buy a decent case and solve that problem for 50 bucks. You're looking at a new motherboard and psu and I am pretty sure you can put your own board in a dell case. You just have to modify the wiring a bit for the front panel.no biggie.
