Just an FYI - the coils/chokes/inductors on the 560 are these things:



'solid state' choke makes no sense to me at all, as all chokes are 'solid state' in the classical sense.

I posted a thread about this a while ago if anyone wants to know a bit more.

But in terms of stopping it - the only answer is to epoxy the chokes, which is done at your own risk

Capacitor/Coil whine, its normal in a lot of videocards especially high end cards_ There really isn't a way to quiet it down, your best bet would be to soundproof your PC Case? But who wants to do that right?

V-sync does fix this issue most of the time, if that don't help just put the PC on the floor or away from directly bothering you =]

Every Nvidia graphics card I ever own did this(Except for ATi cards)

because I couldn't get a signal out of one of em, and because of the coil whine on the other :/
