Good thing is that CPU-Z validates it as 4.27GHz, and on occasion cpu-z does go up to 4.26GHz.. Guess I have nothing to worry about really. tongue.gif

I am on the stock 980x cooler with max fan speeds, how are my temps?

UPDATE: Finally found a fix! Hopefully this will be helpful for people with my mobo!

CPU VR Current Limit Override MUST be turned off in the BIOS. It's an Intel only setting that is used as a safety feature. (Go figure.)

Read more about it here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...e-i7,2063.html

I now have constant clock speeds in CPU-Z!
