780i FTW Raid array degrading

Hi guys, Thought I'd just check here on top of a quick google I did,
I have 2 raid 1's on this motherboard and both raids flagged as degraded but all the disks healthy yesterday. Given that it split the 2 arrays and created 4 arrays made of 1 disk each I thought it had to be chipset error as there's no way my luck would be that bad.
I rebuilt the arrays and all was fine until I woke my rig from sleep this morning and yet again its complaining the raid arrays are degraded, this time it has removed a disk from each array and is only showing 2 arrays, 2 disks.
Now I could go about rebuilding the 2 arrays but they're 1.5tb's each and take a while. I read the best thing to try is to swap the cables and the ports being used but I don't want to destroy the arrays entirely - will they survive something that drastic?

Literally whilst typing this nvidia control panel has just 'found' a new array' :S
It's resolved one array, and showing as healthy, but the other is showing as split and degraded.

Ok, Having deleted on of the arrays the nvidia control panel automatically picked up that it should rebuild the remaining degraded array - That's fine, immediate issue resolved, but how do I prevent this from on-going?

Hah. I'm having the exact same issue. But then again I'm really starting to suspect my board is playing tricks on me on various fields other than that, do you have any other problems with your 780i?

Well...this is a board from an RMA so goodness knows the story of it! No other issues other than this bizarre one of recent. The raid's have been fine since I put them in place, don't really fancy turning off or sleeping the pc without good reason to now.

Just woke the PC up this morning and surprise surprise, the 2 raids are degraded, it's not seeing 2 of the disks. As soon as I open disk manager it will see the disks, nvidia storage control panel will then detect them blah blah blah. Ideas anyone?
