Min voltage for i5 at 4hgz

Thread Starter
so ill just be gaming, (crysis being the most graphically intense thing i play) and most likely folding in the background, so 4ghz is plenty for me right now. Before i started farting around with the voltage to get it as low as i can for 4ghz i thought i would ask around and see what others have gotten. right now i have it on auto and its running in the 1.2s. My lowest voltage at 5ghz was 1.42v but the auto had it at 1.51v until i manually adjusted it. (didnt try any lower then that at 5ghz cause i wasnt going to stay there).

Thank you for your reply . you gave me a good place to start.
So i went with 1.170v and worked my way down to 1.110V (running p95 blend for 30min) with no problems. but i got impatient and jumped to 1.050 and got blue screen so for now I'm sticking with the 1.110v.

if anyone has gotten lower than that please post here i would love to see.
TY

*EDIT*
ok so me being never satisfied i continued to drop it and got it "stable" at 1.080v, check it out!

Well the 1.080v was the lowest i could go with a fixed Vcore.
So i ran a p95 blend for an hour to show stability.
you can see the voltage ran between 1.060v and 1.100v but mostly stayed at about 1.085v
temps where great and only climbed +10c to +20c under load

Now then i've been reading that you can get lower voltage using offset rather then fixed so i was going to try and mess with that.
Since i have never done it i wouldn't mind some advise.
I've read some about people using it in the upper 4s but not sure how that data will transfer over to my low 4.0ghz min voltage tests

Question, i was playing dragon age and the game froze twice already, nothing dramatic just not responding, both times i was folding in the back ground. is this because of the low Vcore im using or because im folding too, or just a bug in the game, (no dlc or patches just stock game).
Also, is running a low voltage bad for the CPU?
