Watercooling GT590 and I7 2600K on one loop?

Hi all,

I hope you guys can help. I just can't find this info anywhere (probably because I'm too stupid).

I'm embarking on my first water cooled build. I think I understand the basics. The problem I'm having is I don't know whether or not I'll need a dual loop setup. I'm looking to water cool a:

Intel Core 7 2600k (which I will be overclocking to the 4.5ghz range)
EVGA GeForce GTX 590 Classified Hydro Copper

Can I do this with one Black Ice SR1 360 Rad in one loop and have it running near silent, but cool? If not, will an additional 240 rad be enough.

Hope you can help

Take a look at this
. A single 360 Rad should be enough IMO

You can definitely cool that entire computer with just a single loop. As for silence, it really depends what your definition of silent is. A single 360 radiator should suffice as long as you are fine with 1450 RPM GentleTyphoons (very quiet). If you truly want absolute silence you are going to have to add that 240 radiator, and switch to 800 RPM GentleTyphoons.

Thanks very much for the replies guys. I think I'll try it on the 360 rad and see how it goes. Can always add a 240 later.

Cheers
