Can you provide a link for your post about Gigabyte and Asus claiming up to 1.9v VTT is safe?

Linpack and P95 Small FFT are not the problem..

I have passed them with ease @ 4GHz (1h of LInpack and 12hrs of P95 Small FFT) with 1.30V vFSB but P95 Large FFT fails within the hour even with 1.36V vFSB..

CHEERS..

Actually it was a guy claiming they were safe, and he had a chart from them. Which I'm trying to get the link to, but I need to quote him to see the URL, and I can't quote him without signing up, and when I signed up that put me in the moderation queue so I can't even see the post. I really hate some forums.

But my P5Q has a minimum PLL voltage of 1.50V. And it won't flag the VTT as yellow until around 1.60V. So it seems they're at least fine with the warranty claim rate with those voltages allowed.

Running large FFTs now.

Asus color marking of voltage settings is ridiculous and not to be taken seriously..

Do not go by that..

CHEERS..

Jesus bro, don't run 1.5 on the VTT or you'll kill that chip, golden or not. It will indirectly put voltage on your CPU.

Your voltage for 3.7 is definitely nice. I doubt your board will have the nuts to push the FSB needed to find that chip's limits though. Also, you never know over 4.0, the VCore needs can start ramping up.

Large FFTs: I've never used them as a regular tool, just Blend. I've found that the systems I've OC'd can pass large FFTs nonetheless.

I'm sure that if i where to go back and find my old settings i could go down to about 1.33 now ( 467*9) but I've not bothered to.
Think i found my old settings, testing 456*9 = 4104Mhz @ 1.29 in bios/1.31v under load, so far its passed the 6 hour mark in P95 Blend and still going. Will stop it now and work my way up.
