Here are some tips:

You may have to reinstall Windows if the above does not work.

are you overclocking? if so, its possible your overclock is unstable and is corrupting the OS. Its also possible you have some ram going bad. Its also possible your HDD is going bad. Run scandisk in safe mode and see if it finds anything.

If you can load in Safe mode try Restore to the most recent point before this latest episode.

Go to Start → Programs → Accessories → System Tools → System Restore

If this resolves the problem disable all auto updates. Note any and all downloads. Then try and determine what may be causing a the blank screen/freeze.

Driver problem? Registry errors? Data corruption of some sort? Bad sectors? None of the above? Sorry. All out of silver bullets.

K first I have already tried restoring and it. It works the first time I restart but screws up after that. And I shut off auto updates

Next, I have it oc'd but I primed it for a while and it was stable and cold.

Ran hd scan already and said no problems

Not sure about ram how do I check that

I reinstalled win7 still nothing

Safe Mode works and it works after a restore the first time powered on after the restore, that's it

If you are reinstalling windows and getting the same error after it boots fine, something is corrupting the data/drivers. Take each memory stick out and test one at a time and see if you get any improvement. Safe mode just loads windows without drivers, so this sort of leads me to believe its a driver issue of some sort. Take out all the hardware that isnt required to boot ( sound card, etc ) and see if you get any improvement out of that.

Try Safe Mode/Restore to a known good point. And disconnect your lan cable.

If it boots normally after Recovery do not reboot. Run Prime95 64 bit in BLEND for at least 10 hours. As you run Blend have a temp app that you can monitor.

If Blend passes then stress test your graphics several times. Observe for artifacts or lockups.

The thinking here is to determine whether your problem is software or
hardware or posssibly your OC.
