In Michigan the police have a device that steals information from your phone, including your iphone location file.

I just don't care. There is so much more to do in life than worry about what others are doing/thinking of you. I am happy, I am a slave to work (every needs money though), but I live life! I play sports, have a GF, have an awesome PC/sound system, got loads of mates who I go out with.

Maybe in the land of the free things are different, but I just don't care because I am free to do what I want. The last thing I am interested in doing is living under some horrible conspirators shell that believes everyone is out to play me. I have everything I want, I am free, I just don't care.
You're not free to do whatever you want, as much as you'd like to think so that is simple not true. Example being, you cannot leave the country without a passport. You're trapped.

Anyone can find out where you live, it's not that hard.

Again you just don't comprehend what's going on, when will you learn? When you cannot go to the pubs any more, is that when you'll wake up? By then it will be too late, and you will be being rounded up and put into a concentration camp, for your "safety".

Well, that's good I have a passport then, so I can leave.

To be honest, I had no idea who the hell he was. We don't get taught all that stuff.

Yes, I will learn when I cannot go to the pub. Until then, i'm going to live life for fun and not sit inside constantly worrying about everything like you seem to. Seriously, go outside and make some friends, it's a wonderful, free world (well, some of it). If you're so tin-foil hat mad, feel free to go picket mobile phone companies or whatever you do, just leave us normal folk alone to have fun

What the host forgot to add in that video was that if they ask to search your car and you say no, they will just tow it away and hold it until they get a warrant from a judge. They're not going to accept no and let you go on your way.

And it's people like yourself that don't think for yourself and just go along with anything you're told.

Quite sad really, learn to think for yourself.

What's even more funny is that you try to insult me by saying that since I have the ability to think for myself that I don't have a life. It really shows your ignorance.

Expand your mind and not your glutenous gut. For there will be a time you will regret being so ignorant to the world around you.

But, seriously, since you have so much wisdom and are so well educated in "everything is a conspiracy", go teach those that care. I'm going to go have a BBQ and some beers (where yes, I will be tracked by my mobile phone).

Just because someone can access my bank records doesn't mean they DON'T want to access my location history, but nice try on ducking the issue with the cute Starbuck's example.

This is like saying that windows with easily unhooked locks aren't a threat to your family because the invader will obviously just steal your wallets and leave. Way to throw concern to the wind because of a naive example where it doesn't pose a threat.

What if someone SPECIFICALLY wants to figure out location history, because it will aid them in whatever it is they want to carry out? Guess what, now they can, much much much easier than they could before. In fact, the iPhone acts as a digital tracker, something dubious people would pay good money to have attached to someone they were targeting.

I don't see how anyone can see that as something of non consequence.

I understand, you like your kool-aid and you're happy with it. Perfectly fine, nothing wrong with that.

But don't cry for help when you're being caged like an animal.

Don't even know what kool-aid is... some kind of American invention?

When i'm caged like an animal, i'll give you a call. Until then, fancy a beer and some meat?

Kool-Aid - Jonestown Massacre. It means going along with the herd to your detriment.

Cages don't have phones, eat up =)

Being either care free or over worried about freedom are both scary things.
