Using an A/B Swith for amp/speakers

Hey guys,

I'm using an Auzentech Prelude as my source and a modded Little Dot MKIVse as my am, but I get very annoyed having to go behind my pc to change the connections every time I want to listen to my speakers.

My father suggested using an A/B switch from Radio shack.

So right now I have RCA's going from my amp to the switch and I also have my Z5500's hooked up to the switch as well.

My main question is, Will I impair the sound by using the switch ?

I just listened to a couple songs and the sound seemed a lil dim, but I think it might be all in my head, what do you guys think?

Provided the contacts on the A+B switch are of ok quality it should'nt pose any issue,in fact even the cheapest going would probably not cause noticable difference.

You should have no noticeable loss.
