What other things are you doing? Because this could affect the responses Also if you are looking at refurbs and open boxes may as well keep your eye on the For Sale section here - I always nab a great deal or two there myself (and because of that have too many spare PC parts now lol)

I would go with the xfx 6850. I just got mine off newegg for 185.00 an it came with shogun 2 for free. This card is awesome. An it's defiantly worth checking out.

That's a badass build that comes in @ $803 before shipping.

You've got a SB 2500k, a Geforce GTX560ti, 1TB HDD, 4gb DDR3 1600 CL8 RAM, a case with 2x120mm & 1x140mm fans, Antec TPN 650w PSU, and a DVD Burner.

You should try an add $29 more for this:

Problems with the build - you are limited to 1 GPU on that motherboard, and it doesn't look like it will be the best overclocking board. You will need to research that. There are better components out there than most of the parts listed, BUT, they are all of decent enough quality and the performance will be astounding.

You will not find a better build or deal than this for your budget, and this build is guaranteed to play current games near or at max settings fluidly. CSS will be stupid fast. Most games released next year will be stupid fast.

You will lose quite a bit of raw power going to a GTS 450 instead of a GTX 460, HD 5850, or HD 6850. The higher cards are not worth it unless you are an extreme gamer.

Personally, I'd just get the cheapest Athlon II x4 (usually OEM 620 for like $60-70), and an AM3+ board (like mine) instead of the 6-core CPU so you can spend more on the rest of your system (PSU, GPU, Memory, Case, Cooling, SSD, HDD), then upgrade the CPU later if you really feel the need.

For everyday use +gaming, my wife's Athlon II 620 (overclocked to 3.5) is just as good as my 4GHZ hexacore. Her GTX 460 determines her performance, and the Athlon II x4 is good enough to drive the GTX 460. I'll be getting her a new SSD long before I upgrade anything else, followed by another GTX 460 to SLI.
