H50 or Geminii S w/ fan

So i can either get a corsair h50 from best buy for 70 dollars -25 i have from a gift card ive been trying to spend for ages, or i can get a geminii s from newegg w/ a slipstream for around the same price. What do i shoot web at?

Pros for H50 = quieter?
Pros for Geminii = cooler temps?

Also, if i go with an air cooler it has to be a downdraft, as my case side doesnt have much clearance due to the intake fan, so im thinking geminii is my best bet

Guess it depends on what is more important to you, cool or quite, I would personally go with the H50, I think it will keep your processor sufficiently cool in a tight space, while keeping the noise low.

What was wrong with the first thread??

Out of those two I would go for the h-50, but If your going to drop $60+ on a cooler, I would stongly look at D-14/silver arrow/Archon. All of witch out performance the H50, and with less noise.

I'd go with the Geminii S as well. The H50 is nice and all, but you lose crucial airflow onto your VRMs. Also it's not as "quiet" as others like to make it seem. The "quiet" feature is all in your fans. Get a quiet fan for the Geminii S and it'll be as quiet, or more quiet than the H50.

I've had two H50's and I could hear the pump with both. Now other's say they couldn't hear it with theirs, but I could with mine because the rest of my case is pretty quiet.

The cooling performance for the H50 overall though I believe would be better than the Geminii S, but like I said, I like that airflow on my VRMs and northbridge.

It double posted, im not sure why

Also, i mean, id love to pick up a d-14 or archon etc but they dont sell them at best buy, which is what is putting the H50 into my price bracket ($25 off gift card)

Also, my case has a 250mm fan on the side so my northbridge temps do alright but not great, do you guys think the h50 with a stock fan will be able to compete at all with core temps from a geminii w/ a slipstream? My goal is 4-4.2ghz stable, will the NB get too hot for that if i go WC?

Thanks again for the help
