Is it best to mount the apogee gt with inlet outlet vertical or horizontal?

I have read that with your block, that if its configured with the large O ring in the base so the base is bowed then it does actually matter which way the water flows and you must respect the inlet and outlet, not just mix them up.

Theres a thread HERE on your water block mentioning the orientation of the pins/fins inside the block must be in a certain way,its worth looking into this,as i say i am currently using an extremely cheapo water block and getting much lower temps at much higher volatage/clocks.

So I was thinking about getting some Masterkleer tubing PVC 1/2" Uv blue/clear and stop using dye.

Should I route the tubing differently than now? I'm also getting a mobo block, I got it quite cheap

I have made a model in google sketchup, but I'm not familiar with making tubing in it yet

Here is the picture, if you want to draw some tubing on it Not the right components, but close

I'd turn the pump so the inlet faces the res and move it up so its slightly below the outlet on the res (actually I've have the pump not attached to the case just hanging from the tube from the rad and level with the res - no vibrations and dead silent). I've made the turn from GPU to NB block on a 775 board with anti-kink coils no problem but its going to depend where the barbs are on the block, you might need a 45 degree barb off the GPU. This would give a short tube run if you can make the turns.

I have the outlet from the res from the bottom of the res and through the bottom plate of the front bay area.

I also have a pump top on my D5

I will get the mb block and tubing perhaps within thursday, then I will redo the system, and fix the cpu block

Thanks for your input

Gonna get a proper camera, and take some pics of what I have done today, and some other stuff that I have planned
