Hi,

i'm a noob at overclocking, i just wanted to extend the usefulness of my com therefore i overclock it.

I had my com oc-ed to 3.01ghz with just tweaking the dram MHz to 430 dram voltage at 1.8 vcore voltage at 1.3, no problem at all it worked for a month until i got a new piece 2gb today.

I thought i could just install it and there wont be any problem, but to my surprise it didnt boot. After the reading around, i guess it couldn't work like this..

I'm here to request help to overclock my cpu back to that level if possible.
Please assist me

E6300 1.86
2x 2GB DDR2 667 Kingston memory
1x 1GB DDR2 667 Kingston memory
Asus P5B
Powerlogic 450Watt
Asus 4850
Decent $80++SGD Heatsink( couldn't remember what it is)

Thank you

Just make sure the RAM are at the same speed, timings etc.. Then try again.

Clear cmos and start over

So the RAM is 667mhz and you're running it at 360(720mhz) correct? Or is 360 the FSB?

I'm confused

Try raising the Northbridge voltage. The MCH may need more voltage to keep up with more addresses/modules.
